Synergy
Condemned to the 2nd Circle of Hell

Definition:

Synergy or synergism most often refers to the phenomenon of two or more discrete influences or agents acting in common to create an effect which is greater than the sum of the effects each is able to create independently.

[Computer and Human] Synergy is the combination of human strengths and computer strengths. Computers can process data much faster than humans, but lack common sense. When a person uses a computer, the person’s thoughts are the input for the computer, where it is translated into efficient processing of large amounts of data. Other humans must first set up the methods for processing.

“Computers can process data much faster than humans” – depends on the task, computational, or real world.

This is a fairly decent word that describes a very good process; however, it is possibly the worst buzzword of all time simply due to it’s over use. At my last two companies, I swear I heard that word at least every other day. Damned to hell!

yeah that’s right. i dislike this word enough to mess with your system. actually i’m just testing whether you prevent me from re sending to hell. because if you can do that this site is pointless, no one plays fair if there are no bounds or consequences. we’re human.

You mean “work together?” How about that? Is that what you were referring to? Was that too many syllables?

This word is only appropriate in two contexts:

    1) when referring to a character from “Jem and the Holograms”
    2) when referring to a piece of software which lets you multiplex one computer’s keyboard and mouse across multiple machines
