Condemned to the 1st Circle of Hell

Hot on the heels of the 2007 MacWorld Expo and Conference in San Francisco, California, the iPhone seems to be the most talked-about word in the blogosphere. In fact, not only did it elicit fanboy-dom among Apple loyalists, it also got the attention of just about anyone interested in technology. And yes, even legal pundits tuned into the talk because of the lawsuit that Cisco lodged against Apple for its use of the iPhone trademark. Apparently, Cisco has owned the name since the early 2000’s, but that didn’t stop Apple from using the “i” moniker that it feels it had popularized with the iMac, iBook, and yes, even the venerable iPod.

Just for that, we consider the iPhone to be a buzzword worthy of casting into the pits of hell.
